Eric Bonnet has taken over from his parents Gérard and Marie-Claude Bonnet and makes all major decisions in the vineyards and the cellar.
The total area of vineyards is about 34 ha. 11 ha Châteauneuf du Pape, 5 ha. Cotes du Rhone Village, 10 ha. Cotes du Rhone and 8 ha. Vin du Pays. The domain is one of few which doesn't use wood for ageing.
Thus The wines speak truly of Terroir. The Cotes du Rhone is rather roguish and rustic with chocolately tannins and a big dollop of dark fruit. The Châteauneuf are broader with some lovely lush fruit benefitting from the increased sun exposure from the famous Galets basking in the sunshine.
